Eight of Swords
Swords 8 · Air · Jupiter in Gemini

Upright — the bindings loose, the cage unlocked
Jupiter widens in Gemini today, and what it widens is the mind — every argument multiplied, every worry given three more corridors to run down. This is the cage you are standing in: eight blades set in a circle, none of them touching you. The blindfold is cloth, not iron. The rope has slack the width of a wrist. The gift is that nothing here holds you but the story you keep retelling. The cost is that no one else can loosen it, and the untying is unglamorous, quiet, done in the dark. Turn your head. Test the knot. Notice where the ground is already open.
Reversed — the first step out of the circle of swords
The blindfold slips today, and the first thing you see is that the swords were never a wall — only spacing, only air. Jupiter moves through Gemini overhead, widening the mind's corridors, and the story that held you begins to lose its grammar; you find you can no longer say it with conviction. This is the gift: one foot outside the circle, and the ground holds. The cost is the plainness of it — no rescue, no revelation, only the small unglamorous work of walking, and the strange grief of releasing a cage you had learned to furnish. Step anyway. Slowly counts.
