Leo
Fixed fire · ruled by the Sun
The performance of the heart. Leo is radiance on purpose — generosity, drama, the need to make something and be seen making it. What carries it in your chart warms every room it decides to own.
The cost is applause dependence — the light dimming the moment nobody watches.
The story — The Nemean lion
The first labor of Heracles was a lion whose hide no weapon could pierce — arrows glanced off, the sword bent, the club broke. He had to close with it bare-handed, and when it was over he wore the invulnerable skin as his own armor for the rest of his life; every statue of him you have ever seen wears the lion. That is Leo: the radiance that cannot be gotten past — a presence arrows do not enter — and the deeper lesson, that the lion's gift only becomes greatness when it is worn in service of the labors.
