Capricorn
Cardinal earth · ruled by Saturn
The long climb. Capricorn is ambition with patience — the structure built to outlast the mood that built it. What carries it in your chart takes responsibility early and delivers late-life returns.
The cost is the ledger: worth measured in output, rest experienced as theft.
The story — The sea-goat's climb
When the monster Typhon fell on the gods, they fled in borrowed shapes — and Pan, diving into the Nile mid-transformation, came out wrong: goat above the water, fish below. But it was Pan, half-formed as he was, who kept his head — his shout ('panic' still carries his name) helped turn the battle, and Zeus set the strange shape in the sky as it was. That is Capricorn: the creature built for two elements — the deep it came from and the mountain it is climbing — proof that you do not wait to be finished before you do the necessary thing.
