Help & Support
Help with Celestial, your account, and anything that isn't working.
Short answers. Where a room explains itself better, the answer points there.
Getting started
How Celestial works
You give a birth date, time and place once. Celestial casts your chart from a real ephemeris, and every reading — Today, the Month, the Year, the Council — is read against it.
Every reading is free, for everyone — the Day, the Week, the Month, the Year, the Timeline, tomorrow tonight. Membership opens the Council in full session. The Observatory walks every room; under a reading, WHY THIS? shows the sky it was read from.
Today
Today opens with the day’s headline for your sky, then the parts of your life the sky is pressing on. Also here: the sky now, the card of the day with its companions, and a way to bring a question to the Council. READ THE DAY IN FULL opens the whole reading, and TOMORROW looks ahead to the next day.
On a phone, tap the Today tab again to return to the top.
Your Chart
The Chart is your birth sky: the wheel, your rising sign, the stars you were born under, your Cosmic Identity, every placement, the fixed stars, and your numbers. On a phone it reads as an arc, one beat at a time; ONE PAGE turns it into a single column.
Tap a planet on the wheel for its reading. RECAST changes the birth details.
The Council
Lay a question before the table and the signs answer it against your chart, in their own voices — all twelve on a Full Sky — ending in the Judgment — the council’s sealed ruling, handed down.
The Council convenes for members. Every free account may also convene five complimentary Council sessions, once, as its introduction — one count, whatever the depth, with follow-ups about the same question included. The Council’s page shows how many are left.
You
You is where you are now: your current chapter, your Cosmic Identity, your Solar Year, this turn of the wheel, the Timeline, the Horizon, and everything you’ve kept — cards, companions, memories, things lived. Your practice — how you’ve been returning — lives here too.
Cosmos
The Cosmos is your world and the people in it: the skies you keep near, drawn as a disc around you. Add someone from their birth details or by a link they send; their placements stand beside yours, and the Council can take them into a question.
Compare Skies
Two charts and the terrain between them: both Big Threes, what runs easy, what grinds, what fuses, and the evidence — every aspect between the two skies. Open it from the Cosmos, or from a person’s page.
The Arc
READ THE DAY IN FULL opens the day’s reading. ONE PAGE reads it as one article; THE ARC reads it as a passage of three movements, one at a time, with Back and Continue and, at the close, the way back to the page or to Today.
Account & membership
Signing in
Everything works without an account. Signing in — with Apple, Google, or a code sent to your email — lets your sky and your membership follow you to any device. Sign in from Settings → Account.
Signing in and syncing are two separate choices; Sync across devices is the switch that keeps your sky under your account.
Sign out is in the same place, under your address. It saves your sky to your account, clears this device and opens the front door, and signing in again brings it all back. If something cannot be saved first — pictures on your Horizon, say — it asks before removing it. Sign out of all devices ends every sign-in at once.
Apple and Google sign-in
Both open the provider’s own page and bring you back signed in. If a sign-in brings you back where you started, try once more — a stale session usually clears itself. If it keeps happening, tell us below with the button you used.
Membership and billing
The Day is free forever. Membership starts with seven free days, then renews monthly or yearly at the price named on the membership page. A membership belongs to an account, so you sign in first.
To cancel, sign in at celestialskies.app/me/membership in a browser and choose Cancel. Canceling runs to the end of what you’ve paid for; nothing is taken away early.
Restore a purchase
A membership is tied to the account it was bought under. On a new device, sign in with the same Apple ID, Google account or email and the membership follows. If it does not, tell us below with the email you used.
Changing birth details
Open the Chart and recast, or Profile → Edit birth details. The whole sky is cast again from the new moment; your people, your Almanac and everything kept stay as they were.
Deleting your account
Settings → Data & account → Delete my account deletes the account itself — the sign-in, the stored copy, the kept sittings, the morning bell, your seat and your open-sky listing — ends a membership at the date already paid for, and clears this device. It is done there and then, with no request to make — unless a membership cannot be ended just then, when nothing is deleted and it says so, so you are never left paying for an account that is gone. What cannot be removed is listed on the privacy page.
Council help
How the Council works
Ask a question. The seats that have something to say speak in turn, each from its own sign and your chart; the Judgment closes the sitting. Choose who speaks under THE CHAMBER, or let the sky pick.
Follow Up vs Push Back
After a Judgment, FOLLOW UP asks the table a further question in the same sitting. PUSH BACK objects — you say what the ruling missed, and the seats answer the objection rather than starting over.
Why the signs disagree
By design. Each seat reads your chart from its own element, modality and ruler — Aries and Virgo are meant to see a decision differently. The Judgment is where the disagreement is weighed and settled.
Why the Council asks for clarification
A question the table cannot rule on — too wide, or missing the thing it turns on — comes back as a question to you. Answer it and the sitting goes on.
Using someone from your Cosmos
Name someone you keep in the Cosmos in your question and the Council reads their placements beside yours. A plain fact about them — their Sun, their Life Path — is answered without convening.
When a sitting fails
A sitting that cannot finish is not counted against you. Ask again; if the table stays silent, check your connection, then tell us below with the time it happened.
Cosmos & sharing
Adding someone
Cosmos → People → add a person from their birth date, time and place. They stand in your sky from then on. Someone who sends you their link is added from it.
Connection requests
A request arrives as a link. Accept it and the two skies keep each other; Quiet keeps theirs without sending yours; Decline ends it. Your own requests are minted from a person’s page.
Sharing your sky
Profile → Sharing makes a link that carries your chart and nothing else — the sky is cast again on the other side from the birth moment.
Lending your sky
A sky can be lent for a day: the other person reads it beside their own until it departs on its own. Nothing of theirs is written to yours.
Compare Skies
From a person’s page or the Cosmos index: both charts, the bond, what runs easy, what grinds, what fuses, and every aspect between you.
Removing or blocking someone
Remove a person from their page. Block someone from a line they left, and they cannot leave another on any edge you share; undo it under Settings → Cosmos & privacy. Stop receiving from someone keeps the friendship and quiets their lines.
Troubleshooting
A page or section won’t open
Pull to refresh, or reopen the app. If a tab does nothing, tap another tab and come back. If it stays stuck, Settings → Data → Export my information keeps a copy, and Clear this device starts over.
The chart looks wrong
The sky is computed from exactly what you entered. Check the birth time first — an AM/PM slip moves the rising sign across the sky — then the place. Recast from the Chart.
Birth time or location issue
Without a birth time the houses and the rising sign are honestly unavailable rather than guessed; everything else stands. If a birthplace cannot be found, try the nearest larger town.
The Council won’t load
The Council convenes for members — check your membership — and for each signed-in account a few times, free, as its introduction; the Council’s page and your membership card say how many are left. On a slow connection a sitting can take a minute to fill; a sitting that fails is not counted.
A purchase isn’t recognized
Sign in with the account the membership was bought under; it belongs to the account, not the device. Then reopen the app. If it is still locked, tell us below with the email you used.
Notifications
The morning bell needs the browser’s permission — Settings → Notifications asks for it. If it was refused once, allow notifications for this site in the browser’s own settings. Inside the iOS app, the bell is on Today.
Sign-in or sync
Sync is off until you switch it on under Settings → Account. Bring my account’s copy reads the stored copy and describes it before anything is written; joining never loses what is here.
