The Aspects

Two planets fused into one instrument. Neither operates alone again — the gift and the interference arrive together, and the pair reads as a single trait to everyone else.

An open door that must still be walked through. Sextiles are talent on offer — easy when used, silent when ignored, and the aspect most often wasted.

Friction that builds engines. Two drives at cross purposes, neither able to win — which is exactly what forces the skill. The hardest aspects in a chart are usually the ones that built its owner.

Current flowing downhill. Trines are what comes so naturally you may not respect it — the ability assumed to be ordinary because it never cost you anything.

Two ends of one axis, taking turns. Oppositions swing until they are held consciously from the middle — and are famously lived out through other people first.
